SAASA B2E is looking for a Commercial Director (1 000 000 Fcfa) Industry: FMCG Main objectives: The Commercial Manager translates the Company's overarching strategic directives into actionable field-level sales operations, drives revenue generation, and oversees the sales workforce while guaranteeing the successful operational rollout of the commercial plan. Key responsibilities and tasks: Market research:

  • Conceive innovative sales tactics, orchestrate regional promotional activities, and uncover fresh prospective accounts;
  • Keep abreast of market dynamics and compile data on competitive offerings;
  • Design marketing and sales roadmaps aimed at fulfilling established performance goals;
  • Scrutinise intelligence gathered on rival brands;
  • Monitor shifts in competitors' pricing structures;
  • Carry out frequent assessments of pricing patterns for both current and upcoming products in the target market, and assist the Chinese team in establishing suitable local retail prices;
  • Conduct continuous analysis of sectoral movements, client behaviour and market evolution to better align strategy with on-the-ground realities;
  • Establish meaningful Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to effectively measure team performance;
  • Supervise inventory, sales results and product dissemination through quantitative tracking and data oversight;
  • Supply professional analytical findings and operational suggestions to enhance customer care;

Ensure seamless exchanges with principal downstream clients in the territory to surface concerns and requirements, facilitating rapid intervention and contributing to sales acceleration and improved customer retention. Account management:

  • Set appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to efficiently assess team advancement;
  • Manage stock holdings, sales outputs and product reach through numerical analysis and record administration;
  • Furnish expert diagnostic outputs and management counsel for service quality improvement;
  • Preserve effective dialogue with core downstream partners in the region to pinpoint challenges and aspirations, enabling timely resolution and fostering turnover growth and client satisfaction. Market expansion and project development:
  • Champion the promotion and dissemination of the Company's product lines;
  • Travel throughout the assigned zone to cultivate new commercial relationships;
  • Achieve full command of the Company's operational platforms and commercial methodologies to secure sustained efficiency improvements;
  • Accumulate field intelligence and produce thorough market assessment documents. Team management:
  • Establish individual sales quotas for each team member;
  • Define suitable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor team achievements accurately;
  • Mentor team members in lead generation, selling techniques and negotiation approaches;
  • Arrange and direct the execution of prospecting schedules and commercial campaigns;
  • Nurture a constructive group dynamic and equitable workplace culture, ensuring even-handed treatment across all personnel. Profile:

Comprehensive understanding of the Cameroonian FMCG marketplace;

  • Demonstrated strength in deal-making and persuasive communication;
  • Working knowledge of office applications and sales monitoring systems;
  • Clear understanding of the FMCG distribution landscape;
  • Expertise in customer relationship management tools and approaches. Interpersonal skills:
  • Superior communication skills and empathetic listening;
  • Discipline, self-reliance and a forward-thinking attitude;
  • Proven organisational and managerial scheduling abilities;

Formation / Diplômes

  • Education: Minimum BAC +3 in Marketing, International Trade, Sales and Commercial Negotiation, or a related subject.
