We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Government Relations & Strategic Partnerships Lead

Location: Abuja

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports to: CEO

Role Summary

The Government Relations & Strategic Partnerships Lead will drive government engagement, grant acquisition, investor relations, and strategic partnerships to support the company’s growth and long-term sustainability.

The role combines public sector relationship management with fundraising, donor engagement, and impact-focused project development in the healthcare logistics space.

Key Responsibilities

Government Relations

Serve as primary liaison with relevant government ministries, agencies, and regulators (Health, Transport, and related bodies).

Manage regulatory engagement, approvals, and compliance processes.

Represent the organization in government forums and policy discussions.

Sustainability & Impact:

Design and support initiatives that improve operational and financial sustainability.

Develop public-private partnerships (PPPs) and scalable healthcare delivery models.

Track and report impact metrics to stakeholders and funders.

Stakeholder Management:

Maintain a structured stakeholder engagement plan across government, donors, investors, and partners.

Coordinate internal teams to execute partnership commitments.

Grants & Funding:

Identify and track grant opportunities from governments, NGOs, DFIs, and foundations.

Lead proposal development, grant writing, budgeting, and submission.

Manage donor reporting and compliance for awarded grants.

Investor & Strategic Partnerships:

Engage impact investors, development finance institutions, and strategic partners.

Develop pitch decks, proposals, and partnership materials.

Support fundraising efforts and partnership negotiations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Value of grants and funding secured

Successful execution of sustainability initiatives

Regulatory compliance and government engagement outcomes.

Number of active strategic partnerships

Growth of funding pipeline (donors/investors/DFIs)

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy, Law, Business, International Relations, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Proven experience writing successful grant proposals or securing institutional funding.

Strong understanding of Nigeria’s public sector and development ecosystem.

Experience in health-tech, logistics, NGO, or donor-funded environments is an advantage.

4 – 6+ years experience in government relations, grants, partnerships, fundraising, or business development.

N450,000 - N500,000 / month
