La crise humanitaire dans le Sahel central reste sévère, complexe et en évolution rapide, alimentée par les conflits, les déplacements, les chocs climatiques, l'insécurité alimentaire et la réduction de l'espace opérationnel. Au Niger et au Burkina Faso, des millions de personnes continuent d'avoir besoin d'aide humanitaire, tandis que le sous-financement, l'insécurité et les contraintes d'accès pèsent sur l'action humanitaire fondée sur des principes et la qualité des programmes. NRC travaille actuellement au Burkina Faso avec des équipes dédiées à l'assistance aux personnes affectées par le conflit. Ses interventions humanitaires reposent sur une expertise programmatique dans les compétences clés suivantes : Abris, Gestion des sites, Éducation, Eau-Hygiène-Assainissement (WASH), Protection contre la violence, et Information, Conseil et Assistance Juridique (ICLA) pour les personnes déplacées vulnérables. L'accès humanitaire reste difficile, avec des exigences administratives et bureaucratiques importantes pour les ONG. NRC a consolidé sa portée géographique et maintient des bases opérationnelles à Dori (Liptako/Soum) et Fada (Goulmou/Sirba/Tapoa). Dans le cadre du modèle de Bureau Multi-Pays (MCO) Sahel central, le Burkina Faso et le Niger sont gérés sous une structure unifiée dirigée par le Directeur Pays du MCO Sahel central, tout en maintenant des hubs de prestation solides au niveau des bureaux de zone.
Missions
Le/la Area Manager - Dori est responsable de la direction des opérations de NRC dans la zone de Liptako/Soum. Il/elle assure un haut niveau de prestation des projets et contribue à la cohérence multi-pays en participant au Groupe de Gestion Multi-Pays (MCMG).
Le poste est basé à Dori, Burkina Faso. Les candidats doivent justifier d'une expérience pertinente en gestion de programmes humanitaires dans des contextes complexes et sécuritaires.
