SOMAPER Mali is recruiting a highly motivated and experienced COUNTRY MANAGER to support the company’s strategic expansion in renewable energy, mini-grids, agroforestry, and last-mile distribution initiatives in Mali.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Country Manager will oversee national operations, strategic partnerships, commercial development, institutional engagement, and operational execution. The selected candidate will play a central role in scaling SOMAPER’s impact-driven renewable energy initiatives and strengthening relationships with investors, development partners, suppliers, and government stakeholders.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Operational leadership and project execution;
• Strategic partnership development;
• Commercial growth and distribution expansion;
• Institutional and regulatory engagement;
• Team management and organizational development;
• Investor and donor coordination.

Master’s degree in a relevant field;

• 8–10 years of relevant leadership experience;
• Strong background in renewable energy, infrastructure, development programs, or market systems;

Excellent management and stakeholder engagement skills;

• Fluency in French and professional English;
• Strong knowledge of the Mali business and institutional environment.
