The British Embassy in Dakar is recruiting a handyman/plumber responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing and monitoring plumbing systems across embassy premises. The role includes carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on water supply, drainage and sanitation systems, responding to plumbing emergencies, performing general handyman tasks such as minor carpentry, masonry, tiling, painting and basic electrical work within authorized limits, conducting preventive maintenance inspections, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, supporting emergency interventions including after-hours when required, and reporting maintenance activities while coordinating with internal teams and external contractors. The position also involves contributing to the overall functioning of the embassy.
