Job Title: IT / Support Officer 

Location: Opebi, Ikeja

Industry: Information Technology & Services

Roles and Responsibilities

The IT/Support Officer will be responsible for providing technical support to staff, managing basic system and network operations, and ensuring smooth functioning of the organization’s IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, email, internet, printers, and mobile devices.

Troubleshoot and resolve user issues promptly and professionally.

Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, software, and IT peripherals.

Set up new user accounts, email addresses, and access permissions.

Monitor network connectivity and escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical team.

Assist in managing servers, backups, antivirus systems, and routine system updates.

Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, support tickets, and system configurations.

Ensure adherence to IT policies, data security guidelines, and best practices.

Support office equipment setup for meetings, trainings, and events.

Collaborate with vendors and service providers when necessary.

Conduct periodic maintenance of IT equipment and provide basic cybersecurity awareness to staff.

Qualifications:

HND/B.Sc. In computer science, or related field.

⁠1–5 years of experience in IT Support.
