Job Description

Location: Accra (Awoshie, Ablekuma, and surrounding areas) and Kumasi (Tafo, Fawoade, and surrounding areas)

A reputable financial institution with branches across the country invites applications from confident, self-motivated, and performance-oriented individuals to fill the position of Loan Officer.

Key Responsibilities

Educate existing and potential clients on the institution’s products and services

Acquire new loan clients and grow the loan portfolio

Manage and maintain a healthy loan portfolio through regular client engagement

Assess, underwrite, and recommend loan applications for approval

Monitor loan accounts and ensure compliance with loan terms

Take proactive measures to recover loan arrears and manage delinquencies

Required Skills or Experience

HND or diploma in Accounting, Management, Statistics, or related disciplines

Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply (no prior work experience required)

Skills and Competencies

Strong analytical and decision-making skills

Ability to work confidently with numbers and basic financial information

High level of integrity, responsibility, and reliability

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Excellent communication and customer relationship skills

Fluency in English and at least one local language relevant to the branch location
