Under the direction of the regional office of Dakar and in close connection with the interventions République Central African Republic (CAR) neighboring DRC began operations in Cameroon in 2018 responding to the humanitarian needs of CAR refugees and vulnerable Cameroonians in the Adamaoua region. The Mobile Emergency Team (EMPACT) also established the DRC program’s presence in the South West region at the end of 2018 to address the needs of forcibly displaced people in the context of the Anglophone crisis, starting humanitarian activities in January 2019. DRC Cameroon is currently implementing protection, food security and livelihood projects in emergency situations in the Adamaoua, East and South West regions. As part of its activities, the Country Directorate is therefore looking for a Supply Chain Assistant. 2. Subject Under the direct supervision of the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Assistant is responsible for providing logistics and supply support to teams. 3. Responsibilities and Tasks Equipment Management: Verify that all assets, old and new, are properly registered and labelled; Ensure that equipment is properly listed in the equipment tracking table; Update the equipment tracking table daily; Conduct a physical inventory of equipment every three months; Ensure that each equipment that is the subject of a loan to a user has its assignment and/or return form; Ensure the proper use of the organization’s assets. Ensure good condition and general maintenance of equipment. Apply equipment management procedures as described in the HR of the DRC; Participate in the electronic archiving of equipment tracking documents on the shrarepoint. Participate in the monitoring of the state of operation of vehicles and generators; Ensure that daily vehicle checks are done by drivers; Monitor tomcards and vehicle consumption; Update daily the vehicle fleet monitoring tables; Ensure the availability of safety and first aid equipment in vehicles used by DRC teams (DRC fleet and rented vehicles); Control the presence of documents on board vehicles; Ensure that rented vehicles are in compliance with DRC standards; Ensure that daily control of generators (coolant level, oil and fuel level) is carried out by the keepers; Ensure that the monitoring of generator operating hours is carried out on the hours tracking sheet by the guards; Ensure that generator maintenance operations are carried out in accordance with the operations manual; Raise maintenance needs with the Supply Chain Manager; Develop the planning of movements; Participate in the electronic archiving of vehicle and generator fleet tracking documents on the sharepoint; Apply vehicle and generator management procedures as described in the HR of DRC. Procurement management: Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to develop procurement documents leading to the placing of orders; Participate in the procurement process (request for quotations and evaluation of offers) for supplies of goods and services to be delivered at the office level; Track orders and ensure receipt of goods and services. Participate in the identification of suppliers in its area; Ensure that purchase documents are complete before payment; Ensure electronic and paper archiving of procurement documents; Apply the procedures in the DRC Operations Manual for procurement management.
