Responsibilities

• Present in Africa since 2017, Lagardère Travel Retail first established itself in Senegal with the opening of its stores at the international airport.átional Blaise Diagne from Diass. The group then extended its activity to the toll motorway and TER station in Dakar. It is also present in Gabon, Mauritania, Gambia, Benin, Cameroon, Tanzania and Rwanda. Our priority: to offer the best customer experience through its shops. ## Reporting to the Sales Department, the Head of Indirect Purchasing manages all purchases outside goods necessary for the operation of the company and the operation of its points of sale. He/she plays a key role in controlling costs, supplier performance and compliance of purchasing processes. ### Perimeter of indirect purchases - General services: maintenance, cleaning, security, energy, maintenance of premises - Arrangement and works: shop layout, renovation, equipment - Computer and telecommunications services - Consulting, marketing, communication and professional services - Transportation, internal logistics, supplies and consumables - Insurance and legal or administrative services ## Responsibilities -
• Defining and Implementing the Indirect Procurement Strategy
• consistent with the financial and operational objectives of the Senegalese subsidiary and the group. -
• Source, select and negotiate
• with suppliers and service providers, organising tenders and optimising the quality/cost ratio. -
• Managing supplier contracts -: drafting, monitoring, renewal and compliance with clauses (SLA, penalties, payment terms). -
• Managing supplier performance
• by monitoring indicators (quality of service, deadlines, costs, claims) and regular reviews. -
• Ensure compliance
• internal procedures, governance rules and local procurement and anti-corruption regulations. -
• Manage and supervise
• a purchasing team or work closely with user services (operations, technical, IT, finance). -
• Contributing to the budget -: development, monitoring of expenditures and gap analysis. -
• Accompanying internal teams
• in the understanding and application of purchasing processes. ## Challenges of the position -

Education / Qualifications

-: Bac +5 / Master, specialization in purchasing, management, finance or equivalent. -

Experience

-: more than 5 years in purchasing, including significant experience on indirect purchases. -

• Technical skills -: Proficiency in negotiation techniques, tendering and contract management; good knowledge of management tools and reporting. -
• Personal qualities -: Leadership, rigor, a sense of negotiation, analytical ability and interpersonal ease with various interlocutors. -
