Role Description The English Teacher at Hello Language Center HLC will deliver engaging English lessons to learners of varying ages and levels, using communicative and learner-centered teaching methods. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing learner progress, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance. The teacher will also adapt materials to learner needs, support learners in developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, and participate in occasional team meetings or training sessions. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Antananarivo, requiring regular presence at the language center and collaboration with colleagues and administrative staff. Qualifications Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with the ability to manage diverse classrooms and support different learning styles. Lesson Planning and Education skills to design structured, goal-oriented lessons aligned with curriculum objectives. Excellent Communication skills for clear instruction, constructive feedback, and effective interaction with learners and colleagues. Proficiency in spoken and written English at an advanced level. Relevant teaching certification, diploma in education, or degree in English, Education, or a related field preferred. Experience teaching English in classroom or language center settings is an advantage. Ability to create an inclusive, respectful, and motivating learning environment. Strong organizational skills and reliability in managing part-time schedules and class responsibilities.
