Position: Human Resource Officer Company: Malu Capital Location: Lusaka, Zambia Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities: Managing end-to-end HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, staff induction, and employee retention strategies. Driving staff performance management systems, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reviews, and employee appraisals. Fostering positive employee relations, resolving workplace grievances, and administering staff welfare programmes. Drafting, updating, and enforcing institutional human resource policies, employee handbooks, and code of conduct. Ensuring full compliance with Zambian Labour Laws, Industrial and Labour Relations Act, and Employment Code Act. Managing employee personnel files, leave administration, attendance tracking, and HR data systems. Identifying training needs, organizing capacity-building programmes, and supporting staff career development. Qualifications & Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field. 1 – 3 years’ relevant experience in human resource management (experience in financial services or microfinance is an added advantage). Valid membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) with a current practicing licence. Solid understanding of Zambian labour legislation and modern HR best practices. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, report writing, and organizational skills.
