Activities
The selected person will be responsible for regularly practicing the conversation in French with the client to improve their understanding and oral expression. She will help him gradually learn and master French through natural exchanges and everyday situations, and will tactfully correct his errors in pronunciation, vocabulary and formulation.
It will offer various learning methods, fun and adapted to the level of the client, including songs, French songs, role-playing games and situations. It will encourage the client to express themselves in French with confidence and to progress at their own pace, facilitate communication with Francophone interlocutors and, if necessary, use translation applications.
She will also assist the client in his daily activities and administrative procedures, according to his needs, and will demonstrate availability, discretion and professionalism in the execution of the missions entrusted.
Candidate profile
The candidate must have an excellent command of French, with a correct, clear, fluid and natural oral expression, as well as a careful pronunciation, approaching as much as possible the standard French spoken in France. He or she must be able to hold various and regular conversations in French and simply explain the words, expressions and rules of use.
He or she must be able to speak French with sufficient pedagogy to teach the client: good speech and pronunciation as close as possible to standard French spoken in France. Knowing how to sing and being able to teach French songs to the client in order to make learning French enjoyable would be a very good asset.
The person sought is cheerful, warm, patient, sociable and easy going. She shows creativity, listening, initiative and adaptability, and is honest, discreet, serious, reliable, organized and professional. She is willing to provide one-time assistance in personal matters and certain daily or professional tasks of the client, and is comfortable with the use of translation applications and digital tools facilitating communication. Speaking English fluently will also be an asset.
