Protecting people who benefit and are impacted by our intervention is our top priority in everything we do. Everyone collaborating with ALIMA undertakes to: Respect the charter, the code of conduct, institutional policies including the policy of protection against abuse of power and gender-based and sexual violence, the policy of prevention of corruption and fraud; Report any violation of policies, framework documents and procedures to a superior, superior, referrer, referrer. SOIGNER – INNOVATE – Since its creation in 2009, ALIMA has reached more than 18 million beneficiaries in 15 countries, mainly in Africa. In addition, to improve the humanitarian response, we carry out operational and clinical research projects, particularly in the field of combating malnutrition and hemorrhagic viral fevers.

The ALIMA TEAM: more than 2000 people are currently working for ALIMA. The field teams, as close as possible to the patients, receive their support from coordination teams generally based in the capital of the countries of intervention. They receive the support of the 4 teams desk and the team of the emergency department and openings based at the operational headquarters of Dakar, Senegal. The teams of Paris and New York are actively working on fundraising as well as ALIMA representation. The rest of the ALIMA Galaxy includes individuals and partner teams who work on behalf of other organizations such as medical NGOs BEFEN, Health WARNING, SOS Médecins / KEOOGO, AMCP, research organizations PACCI, INSERM, INRB, Universities Bordeaux or Copenhagen, the NGO Solidarités International and many others. OUR THEMATICS PROJECT: Malnutrition, Sexual and reproductive health including gender-based violence, Primary and secondary health, surgery, pediatric care, killer diseases such as Malaria, IRA, Diarrhea, Epidemic (haemorrhagic fevers, meningitis, Cholera, Measles, Dengue, Covid-19). Job overview

ALIMA has an operational presence in Ituri since 2022, especially in the Health Zones of Bunia and Rwampara, and benefits from a good knowledge of the context and local health actors. As soon as the Ebola outbreak was declared, ALIMA activated its emergency system, mobilized its teams and prepositioned stocks, and obtained accreditation from the National Institute of Public Health (INSP) to officially participate in the response. ALIMA has recognized expertise in the management of viral hemorrhagic fever epidemics in DRC and internationally. The organization has played a major role in several Ebola outbreaks in the DRC (11th to 16th epidemics) as well as Guinea, Uganda, Equatorial Guinea and Rwanda, through case management, surveillance, infection prevention and control (ICP) and capacity building for health workers. Since 2020, ALIMA has relied on a national plan for the preparation and response to viral haemorrhagic fevers, enabling it to rapidly deploy qualified personnel and medical resources. WASH. The organization is also behind the CUBE (Bio-Secure Emergency Room for Epidemics) concept, an internationally recognized innovation for the safe management of patients with highly infectious diseases. More recently, ALIMA participated in the response to the previous Ebola outbreak in Bulape as well as the response to the Mpox epidemic in DRC in 2024.–2025, confirming its ability to respond quickly and effectively to major health emergencies.
