Company: Sico Civils | Location: Kasungu / Nalikule | Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities Project Execution & Supervision: Oversee day-to-day civil engineering construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to engineering designs, specifications, and safety standards. Design & Technical Review: Review and contribute to structural and civil design drawings, technical specifications, and method statements. Quality & Safety Compliance: Implement rigorous quality control protocols and enforce stringent health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all project sites. Resource Management: Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and laborers, managing the allocation of plant, machinery, and construction materials efficiently. Progress Monitoring: Prepare technical reports, track project milestones, and liaise with consultants, clients, and senior management to ensure timely project delivery.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Professional registration with the Malawi Institute Of Engineers.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on civil engineering experience in infrastructure, roadworks, or heavy construction environments.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering design software and strong project management capabilities. Key Attributes: Excellent leadership abilities, problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills, resilience, and adaptability to dynamic site conditions.
