Job overview

CHANTIER SARL is an Ivorian company specialized in turnkey industrial projects (EPC), metal construction, boilermaking, civil engineering and public works. To support the activity of its sites, it is looking for a Maintenance Manager in charge of machinery and construction equipment to guarantee the availability, reliability and safety of the fleet of machines and equipment.

Main duties

• Organize and manage preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery (excavators, loaders, graders, trucks, cranes) and construction equipment.
• Establish and monitor the maintenance schedule, maintenance logs and regulatory controls of the fleet.
• Diagnose breakdowns and ensure quick troubleshooting to limit stoppages on construction sites.
• Manage spare parts inventories, supplies and relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Supervise and animate the team of mechanics and electromechanics.
• Track maintenance costs, consumption and equipment availability indicators, and produce reports.
• Ensure compliance with technical requirements, (QHSE) on site.

Candidate profile

Education / Qualifications

• Bac Training+2 or Bac+3 in maintenance of construction equipment, mechanical, electromechanical or equivalent field.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance of construction machinery and equipment (construction, EPC, industry) would be appreciated.
• Good command of mechanics, hydraulics and electricity of the machines.
• Experience in team management and material fleet management; mastery of office tools or a CMMS.
• Rigor, leadership, responsiveness, organizational skills and mobility on construction sites in Côte d’Ivoire and the sub-region.
• Sensitivity to QSSE requirements: quality, health, safety and environment.
