The Center for International Forestry Research and World Agroforestry (CIFOR-ICRAF) is seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to support the implementation of the Regreening Africa and K4GGWA programs. The role involves supporting program coordination activities, particularly under component 3 of the K4GGWA program, conducting research activities from design and data collection to writing scientific articles, engaging stakeholders through workshops and training sessions, supporting fundraising activities including proposal writing and project development, and participating in field missions and program-related events nationally and internationally. The candidate will also perform any other assigned duties. Requirements include a doctoral degree or PhD in social sciences or related environmental studies, at least 5 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, experience in qualitative research methods, data collection and analysis, and proven experience in publishing scientific or peer-reviewed articles. The position is offered on post-doctoral terms with a contract duration of two years, including a six-month probation period, with possible extension based on performance and resources. The position is based in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, and candidates must have the right to live and work in the country.
