Role Description This is a contract, on-site Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) Consultant role based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The ERP Consultant will analyze existing business processes, identify gaps, and design solutions aligned with organizational objectives. Daily tasks include configuring and implementing ERP modules, coordinating with finance and operations teams, and supporting data migration and system integration activities. The role involves documenting workflows, preparing training materials, and delivering user training to ensure effective system adoption. The consultant will also provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend system improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance. Qualifications – Strong understanding of Business Process analysis and optimization, with the ability to map workflows and recommend improvements. – Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting data, assessing system performance, and supporting decision-making. – Hands-on experience with ERP Implementations, including configuration, testing, deployment, and user training. – In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) concepts and architecture across functional areas. – Solid Finance knowledge to support integration of financial processes, reporting, and controls within ERP systems. – Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. – Experience working with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) is highly advantageous. – Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. – Proven ability to work on-site in a dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines. – Relevant professional certifications in ERP or business analysis are a plus.
