Roster SSA - Chauffeur, Chad Organization: WHO - World Health Organization Country: Chad City: N'Djamena Office: WHO N'Djamena, Chad . 1. Background Given the many field activities related to the implementation of the programs, the presence of a dedicated driver is essential. Indeed, the effective execution of missions requires the availability of a reliable and secure means of transport to ensure the mobility of staff, partners and goods in accordance with operational deadlines. The driver plays an essential role in the execution of activities by ensuring the transport of personnel and equipment to the different intervention sites. It ensures regular maintenance of the vehicle, compliance with road safety rules and maintenance of administrative documents related to the vehicle. The recruitment of a driver has become essential to ensure the continuity, speed and effectiveness of interventions in Ndjamena and in the field during emergency periods. In addition, this position contributes to enhancing the operational effectiveness of programmes by facilitating travel to NâDjamena and on the ground to be cared for, coordination with different stakeholders and the rapid delivery of resources necessary to achieve WHO objectives.
