Main duties

• Levels: L 1, L 2 and L 3 An opportunity to contribute to biomedical training. As part of the strengthening of its teaching team and the development of its Bachelor in Biomedical Technologies, a university institution of higher education based in Antananarivo recruits qualified teachers to ensure the responsibility and teachings of teaching units (EU). It is primarily looking for permanent teachers, while remaining open to applications from individual contractors and expert professionals according to specialties and availability. The training combines basic sciences, electronics, medical technologies, equipment maintenance and practical situations. Candidates can position themselves on one or more subjects corresponding to their expertise. Basic Science and Technology: Applied Mathematics and Physics; Electrical and Electrotechnical; Analog and Digital Electronics; Computer Science, Programming and Microcontrollers; Technical Drawing and CAD. Medical instrumentation and equipment: Biomedical instrumentation and sensors; ECG, electrophysiology and monitoring; infusion pumps and syringe pushers; laboratory equipment and sterilization; medical devices and medical electrical safety. Maintenance and hospital technical environment: Diagnostic and troubleshooting of electronic boards; preventive and corrective maintenance; power supplies, batteries and electronics; generators, inverters and solar; cold, air conditioning and air treatment; installation and commissioning; CMMS and Park Management. Further education: Applied medical sciences, communication and technical English, quality and safety, project management, supervision of internships and end-of-study projects, according to the EU open to recruitment. Main missions Provide lectures (CM) and, as required, tutorials (TD) and practical work (TP). Take the pedagogical responsibility of one or more EUs: progression, coordination of stakeholders, monitoring of achievements and evaluations. Own and contribute to updating the model, syllabus, course materials, case studies and construction sheets. Prepare and correct assessments, participate in juries and pedagogical follow-up of students. Contribute to the supervision of projects, internships and end-of-study work as well as the continuous improvement of training. Ensure safety rules during practical activities and report the need for teaching materials. Relevant diploma in the discipline taught: appreciated doctorate; master's degree (Bac+5) or engineering degree sought for teaching responsibilities. Experience in higher education or technical training appreciated; a hospital, industrial or biomedical maintenance experience is an asset. Mastery of the content taught and ability to make it accessible to Bachelor students. Rigor, pedagogical sense, ability to work as a team and to articulate theory and practice. Very good command of French; technical English appreciated. Professional experts with significant qualifications and experience can be studied for targeted interventions, in accordance with applicable academic rules. Conditions for collaboration Priority to permanent teaching positions. Part-time collaborations, exchanges or specialized interventions may be considered.
