The Senior Mass Transport Advisor plays an essential role in the safe, compliant and efficient management of the Simandou Project’s transport operations. Responsibilities

- Support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of travel management, fatigue management, driver qualification and operator certification programs.
- Conduct audits, inspections, reviews and assurance activities to verify regulatory compliance, control effectiveness and operational performance.
- Analyze performance indicators, incidents and operational trends to identify opportunities for improvement and strengthen risk management results.
- Develop, maintain and periodically test emergency and transportation incident response plans as well as business continuity arrangements.
- Provide technical support, coaching and operational support to managers, supervisors and service providers on transport safety and risk management issues.
- Promote the standardization of practices, adoption of industry best practices, innovative solutions and continuous improvement approaches in transport operations.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with regulatory authorities, transport operators, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
- Accompany, train and supervise teams on site in order to strengthen the transportation safety culture, operational capabilities and leadership effectiveness throughout the project.
