Preschool School Manager

Candidate profile

Experience

• Proven experience in the management of an educational institution or similar.
• Minimum experience: at least 5 years in the field.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Patience and sense of active listening.
• Dynamics and availability.
• Team spirit and a high sense of responsibility.
• Required educational documents: the candidate must provide official attestations proving that she is authorized to teach in preschool.
• Local residence: living around Bambilor is a mandatory requirement.
• Knowledge of English: an asset appreciated. Attached to the agronomist of the farm, you participate in the agronomic management of all crops to achieve yield objectives in a sustainable way. You help ensure the quality of crops and implement innovative technical solutions and practices, adapted to each crop, in compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Other information

You work in conjunction with the production team, the harvesting and weeding team, the packhouse and other departments of the company.

Main duties

Soil fertility and fertilization

• Support the agronomist in soil and fertilizer fertility management: calibration of equipment, fertilization plan, health and safety related to the use and storage of fertilizers.
• Ensure records are compliant for all audits. Integrated crop protection
• Support the agronomist on integrated pest management and plant protection products: calibration of sprayers, treatment plans, registrations, health and safety related to the use and storage of products.
• Ensure compliance of authorized product lists (Senegalese regulations and export customer requirements) and their timely renewal. Irrigation and water management
• Support the agronomist on irrigation and water management, as well as on the safe use of irrigation equipment.
• Follow the UV systems of the irrigation network to control the risk of microbial contamination. Management and monitoring of operations
• Ensure, with the agronomist, the realization of the monthly inventory of stocks and the ordering of inputs at the right time.
• Ensure weed control at the right time and rigorous cost control.
• Ensure that risk assessments are reviewed and signed.

Education / Qualifications

Research, training and audits

• Support the agronomist in agricultural research and innovation.
• Ensure the continuous training of drivers and contribute to the cohesion of teams.
• Support the agronomist during audits (GLOBALG.A.P., LEAF, etc.). Other responsibilities
• Participate in sowing operations: calibration of seeders and depth of seedlings adapted to each crop.
• Follow the growing needs, the cleanliness of the plots and the soil preparation schedule.
• Perform any other tasks requested by the hierarchy. Candidate profile
• Training in agronomy or agriculture Bac+3 / Bac+5,
• 3 years of experience in agricultural production, ideally in export crops
• Knowledge of GLOBALG.A.P. standards and good practices in the use of inputs
• Rigor in recording and maintaining audit documents
• Ability to supervise and train field teams
• Good command of French;
• Good command of English;
