He is looking for two structural engineers able to design, calculate and defend their works in front of the customer and the control office. You will join an international team, on a fast-moving site, and the selected profiles will be able to link up on two projects.
Designing and dimensioning reinforced concrete structures and metal frames: foundations, massive equipment, technical buildings, piping supports. Produce the calculation notes and models, then check the execution plans. Define actions and combinations of loads, including earthquake, wind and dynamic loads of machines. Control the conformity of materials and concrete to project specifications. Connecting with the mechanical, piping, electrical and construction teams: this is often where real problems are solved. PROFILE
Diploma of Engineering (Bac+5) in Civil Engineering or Structures.
Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design and calculation of structures, including a significant part on industrial, energy or oil projects. Knowledge & Reference: Strong mastery of Eurocodes (EN 1990 to EN 1998), seismic rules, ACI 318, AISC Steel Construction Manual, EN 206, ASTM standards and local regulations. A smooth adaptation between Eurocodes and American standards.
Mastery of at least one calculation software (Robot, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD.Pro) as well as AutoCAD or Tekla. Languages: Fluent French and good command of professional English (regular exchanges with the customer team). Strengths: Prior experience on gas installations, API 620/650 tanks, ASME B31.8 pipeline supports or LNG facilities.
