Supply Chain Manager — Club Tiossane, Dakar (Thiaroye-sur-Mer, RN1)

Club Tiossane is hiring a Supply Chain Manager on a permanent basis, with an immediate start-up, to manage all operations related to the stock management of the various distribution channels (Domicile, MT and Koto), supplies, fleet and company work. The position is in person, based in Thiaroye-sur-Mer, on the RN1, and attached to the General Manager.

Our activity

Multi-channel food distribution, to bring the right products to the right places. Club Tiossane is building three food distribution channels: home delivery, targeted at urban households; Modern Trade, targeted at supermarkets, gas stations and other convenience stores; and Tradi Trade, the 35,000-plus informal shopkeepers who sell most of the food products consumed by Senegalese. To serve these three targets, Club Tiossane and KOTO rely on a common infrastructure base: a tailor-made web platform, physical infrastructures designed for the cool and dry (trucks and warehouses/cold rooms), and a young and committed team.

The position

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for all operations related to stock management of the various distribution channels (Domicile, MT and Koto), supplies, fleet and work in the company. It plays a key role in optimizing the supply chain to ensure customer satisfaction, while controlling costs and meeting quality requirements. It is attached to the Director General.

Required qualities

Excellent analytical skills: ability to analyze numbers, assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Communication and negotiation skills: talent to communicate clearly with various interlocutors (internal teams, partners, suppliers ...); ability to negotiate advantageous agreements with suppliers and partners.

Rigor and organization: Careful and organizational sense to simultaneously manage multiple priorities.

Team spirit and collaboration: ability to work in synergy with other departments (commercial, production, finance...) and ability to create a harmonious and productive working environment within the warehouse and the company in general.

Key responsibilities

Team management: supervise and develop Supply Chain teams (logistics, approvals, inventories, fleet ...); define individual and collective objectives, and support them in their achievement.

Flow management: oversees all logistics flows, from suppliers to end customers, through the teams of approach, logistics and inventory analyst; ensures the optimization of storage and distribution processes; analyze supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement; negotiate and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers.

Inventory management and forecasting: with the inventory analyst, set up forecasting and inventory management tools to avoid breakouts or overstocks; make monthly inventories and analyze deviations.

Cost optimization: identify the levers to reduce operational costs, especially the car fleet, while maintaining an optimal level of service; with the help of the shift supervisor, manage the work and negotiate for a good value.

Import management: analyze the needs of the commercial and go to pick up the products at the import making sure that the margin on the sale price corresponds to that defined by the company.

Children's participation: reporting the supply chain data and presenting it to CoPil on the basis of a common file.
