Responsibilities

Functions and responsibilities of the position Under the supervision of the Accounting and Finance Manager, the Accountant will be responsible for: Mission 1: Maintaining and monitoring accounting Control, record and monitor the accounting transactions relating to grants received and expenses of the institution; Entering accounting documents (supplier invoices, payments, banking transactions, etc.); Verify the conformity of supporting documents before registration;

Other information

Monitor accounts payable and other third parties; Follow-up of acquired assets; Monitor fuel consumption and reconcile dashboards with actual consumption; Ensure compliance of accounting entries with the SYSCEBNL standard; Monitor banking operations and coordinate with financial institutions. Mission 2: Ensure budget and cash flow monitoring Update budget monitoring tools; Regularly update and monitor the cash flow plan; Monitor budget execution; Preparing periodic financial statements; Participate in the preparation of financial reports for management and partners; Support periodic accounting closes. Mission 3: Ensure archiving and administrative compliance Ensure the physical and electronic filing and archiving of accounting and administrative documents; Ensure the availability of documents necessary for controls and audits; Monitor the evolution of accounting, tax and social regulations; Participate in updating accounting tools and software; Collaborate with external auditors during audit engagements.
