Reporting To: Operations Manager

Our client, FirstKlass Shipping Specialist is an international door-to-door shipping and logistics company headquartered in the United Kingdom with growing operations in Ghana. The company specializes in efficient cargo handling, international shipping coordination, and reliable delivery services between the UK and Ghana.

To strengthen our Ghana operations, we are seeking to hire highly disciplined and experienced Delivery Drivers.

 

Position Summary

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, secure, and timely transportation of goods from the warehouse to designated delivery locations.

 

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

1. The role ensures:

Safe handling and transport of goods 

Proper use and maintenance of company vehicles 

Efficient coordination with Delivery Personnel 

Compliance with safety and operational standards 

Delivery Operations

Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations 

Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and without damage or loss 

Work closely with Delivery Personnel to ensure accurate delivery execution 

Items must not be returned to the warehouse without proper authorization

Vehicle Management & Accountability

Take full responsibility for assigned vehicle 

Ensure vehicle is used strictly for official purposes 

Report faults before commencing operations 

Maintain vehicle cleanliness (interior and exterior) 

Ensure vehicle is parked securely after work 

Safety & Compliance

Follow all road traffic laws and regulations 

Adhere strictly to company policies and SOPs 

Do NOT use mobile phones while driving 

Strictly no alcohol or drug use during working hours 

Safety is non-negotiable

Customer Interaction & Conduct

Maintain professionalism at all times 

Represent FKSS positively 

Wear approved company uniform 

Do not request or accept tips or unauthorized payments 

Warehouse Support

Assist in: Offloading containers, Sorting and organizing goods and Loading delivery vehicles 

Work collaboratively with warehouse and delivery teams 

Reporting & Communication

Provide real-time delivery updates 

Confirm delivery completion promptly 

Maintain honesty in all financial matters (fuel, expenses, interactions with authorities) 

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, secure, and timely transportation of goods from the warehouse to designated delivery locations.

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify as a delivery driver with Licence C, you need:

Valid Category C licence 

Basic education (SHS/WASSCE) 

Proven Driving experience (preferably delivery/logistics) of not less than 5years

Knowledge of roads and safety rules 

Good attitude and reliability
