Job Description

A Reputable Architecture and construction company with its office at accra is seeking to employ a General Manager

Responsibilities

Forming and managing policies on employee organization and discipline, company property use, managing finances.

Evaluating department performance based on the revenue, cost, service or production volume, sales, etc.

Recruiting, terminating, and reassigning department or division heads, supervisors, and other staff.

Scheduling working hours and shifts for the employees.

Planning the use of materials, equipment, assets, etc.

Dealing with employees’ conflicts.

Reporting to top management, such as CEO

To develop and implement the overall organizational strategy 

To oversee the activities of different departments and business units

To adapt to changing market conditions

To oversee the budget responsibilities

To assist in decision-making across different departments

To establish control mechanisms

To encourage the sustainable growth of the organization

Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of the staff

Creating and implementing strategies for business growth

Ensuring that departments or units deliver quality offerings to clients

Working closely with Account Managers and other senior staff to improve efficiency and performance

Improving internal processes for better productivity

Overseeing large projects and interpreting performance reports.

Required Skills or Experience

Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role

Must have MBA in administration

Should be between the ages of 35 – 45 years

Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.

Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
