The NDC Support and Youth Engagement Officer will play a crucial role in advancing climate action and sustainable development in Tonga by engaging youth and facilitating project management activities. This position involves implementing the Youth Awareness Strategy, coordinating events, and providing administrative support to senior officials. The officer will work closely with the Tonga Ministry of Meteorology, Energy, Information, Disaster Management, Environment, Climate Change and Communications (MEIDECC) to enhance youth participation in climate initiatives. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination for successful project outcomes. Master's degree in relevant field or Bachelor's with 2 years experience Experience in climate change or environmental issues in Tonga Experience working with youth groups Project management skills Fluency in English
