You will be part of a team of highly motivated and experienced consultants who work with governments in Asia and Africa to create social impact through policy and technology interventions in the areas of social protection, food security, agriculture, rural development, urban development, among others. Essential Skills Demonstrates an understanding of digital identities, digital public infrastructure, digital public goods, payments, data exchange, consent and digital signature solutions. Proficient in guiding or assisting in the execution and expansion of IPRs or digital solutions in African countries. Able to develop concept notes and technical proposals. Job Description Business Development: Stay informed of industry trends, market dynamics and customer needs to identify potential business opportunities. Lead the development of global proposals, ensuring that they are aligned with organizational objectives. Create concept notes describing the ideas, methodologies and potential impact of the project, based on sector/thematic research. Collaborate with senior management to plan and execute business development activities, thereby contributing to strategic decision making. Conduct field visits to obtain information, engage experts and understand the realities on the ground. Help organize events and workshops at the state or national level, host government delegations and plan exhibition visits. Participate in marketing activities such as workshops, international events, conferences and discussions to represent the organization. Performing activities: Assume leadership or support roles in the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring timely delivery. Provide technical advice and project management assistance to public and private sector clients. Have previous experience working with government agencies. Establish strong relationships with various stakeholders within client organizations to facilitate the successful execution of the project. Develop tools to assess current levels of digitization among public and private sector clients and advocate for best standards and practices. Demonstrate an understanding of digital identities, digital public infrastructure, digital public goods, payments, data exchange, consent and digital signature solutions. Lead or assist in the implementation and deployment of digital solutions in African countries. Generate project-related deliverables such as project plans, future and actual analyses, feasibility studies, detailed project reports, functional requirements specifications, project status reports, and research papers. Execute missions with meticulous attention to detail and a focus on quality. Maintain open communication with key stakeholders, understand their unique needs and integrate feedback to improve project outcomes. Foster collaboration within MSC’s cross-functional teams, fostering an environment of innovation and adaptability. Contribute to the success of the team and project by publishing blogs and articles to showcase MSC’s work in national and international media. Qualifications: Bachelor of Information Technology (IT) or in a related field. Master's degree, preferably in Business Administration (MBA). Possession of other relevant professional certifications related to areas of specialization.
