About the Company The Driver will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation for staff, documents, and company materials. The Driver will ensure that the assigned vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained while complying with traffic laws and company policies. Ensuring assigned vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained while complying with traffic laws and company policies. Key Responsibilities Ensure vehicles are in good working condition, clean, and presentable at all times. Drive staff to various locations in support of company activities.
Conduct daily checks of oil levels, water levels, tyres, and other basic vehicle requirements each morning before undertaking any errands. Monitor and report on the validity of vehicle documents, including insurance and Certificate of Fitness (COF). Comply with road traffic laws and the company’s transport policies. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical faults.
Perform other transport-related duties as assigned. Qualification and Competencies
Minimum of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE). Valid Driving License with a good driving record, preferably with a valid Class C or C1 license.
At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a reputable organization. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Good communication and interpersonal skills. High level of responsibility, reliability, and professionalism.
