The Child Protection Officer will provide technical, operational, and administrative support for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of programs aimed at preventing child marriage and promoting the empowerment of adolescent girls. This role involves enhancing the visibility of interventions in targeted regions through strategic partnerships. The officer will support activity planning, program implementation, and capacity building. The position is based in Niamey, Niger, and is part of UNICEF's commitment to protecting children's rights. Bachelor's degree in social or economic sciences, international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law, or relevant field At least two years of relevant professional experience in social development projects Expertise in child protection and child marriage prevention Skills in program management, monitoring and evaluation, community engagement, and partnership development Proficiency in French and good knowledge of English
