Boyer Law Firm, P.L. is seeking a full-time, 100% remote Legal Professional to join our team based in Antananarivo, Madagascar. To align with our U.S.-based operations, your schedule will require a four-hour daily overlap with U.S. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, within a nine-hour workday that includes a midday break. Due to the U.S. clock change (March to November vs. November to March), your hours will adjust accordingly: 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. during U.S. summer and 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. during U.S. winter time in Antananarivo. The first half of your day focuses on independent, high-concentration tasks such as research, drafting, and file management, while the second half is dedicated to real-time collaboration, including calls, meetings, and direct client interactions.
As a U.S. law firm headquartered in Florida, we specialize in international law, business law, immigration, real estate, civil and business litigation, and family law, serving a diverse global clientele. French and English are both primary working languages, and fluency in both is essential.
We seek a self-driven legal professional—such as a paralegal, jurist, or attorney—who thrives under structured autonomy. This role demands critical thinking, analytical precision, and the ability to advance files independently without constant oversight. Ideal candidates will proactively manage deadlines, anticipate U.S. team needs during overlap hours, and demonstrate a commitment to mastering U.S. and international legal procedures. Prior experience in common law systems is advantageous but not mandatory; however, curiosity, rigor, and sound judgment are non-negotiable. Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and manage legal documents and correspondence in French and English
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda under attorney supervision
Oversee case files from initiation to resolution, including deadlines, filings, evidence, and client documentation
Communicate directly with clients, including many francophone clients, via phone, email, and video
Prepare immigration petitions, corporate filings, contracts, and litigation documents
Coordinate with U.S. courts, government agencies, and opposing counsel
