The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking a Food Technologist to support nutrition and food technology projects in West and Central Africa. The role involves providing technical assistance for food fortification initiatives, particularly focusing on rice fortification to combat malnutrition. The incumbent will work independently, supporting the Nutrition Value Chain portfolio and collaborating with local cooperatives and country offices. This position requires travel within the region and offers a six-month contract starting in October 2026. Advanced degree in Food Technology or related field At least 5 years of relevant experience Fluency in English and French Knowledge of food fortification and processed food Experience in WACARO region
