Business Growth & Development Manager Kray Microfinance Limited Branch Locations Financial Services Management,Sales & Retail,Business Operations,Finance Kray Microfinance (SACCO) is seeking a highly driven, field-oriented and results-focused Business Growth & Development Manager to lead business acquisition and growth at branch level. This is not a desk-based management role . The successful candidate will lead a team of Relationship Officers into the market daily to acquire customers, mobilise deposits and investments, generate quality loan business, reactivate customers and develop new institutional and business relationships. Key Responsibilities
Leading daily field sales and deposit mobilisation activities.
Growing branch deposits and active customer numbers.
Acquiring and activating new customers.
Generating and converting quality loan leads.
Reactivating dormant and inactive customers.
Developing relationships with SMEs, employers, schools, churches, SACCOs, associations, market groups and other institutions.
Identifying new markets and business opportunities within the branch territory.
Identifying, recruiting, onboarding and activating new Kray agents within the branch territory.
Setting daily, weekly and monthly sales targets for the team.
Tracking individual officer productivity and overall branch business performance.
Personally, supporting the team in prospecting, pitching, negotiating and closing significant business opportunities.
Ensuring that business generated is sustainable, compliant and commercially valuable. MANDATORY EXPERIENCE Applicants MUST have previously worked in a SACCO, microfinance institution, bank, financial cooperative, savings institution or another organisation where deposit/savings mobilisation was a significant part of their role. Candidates must demonstrate:
Practical experience in deposit and savings mobilisation .
Proven field sales and customer acquisition experience.
A track record of achieving deposit, customer acquisition or business growth targets.
Experience building and maintaining customer relationships.
Ability to convert newly acquired customers into active and consistent savers.
Strong knowledge of field prospecting and market penetration.
Ability to work with demanding daily, weekly and monthly targets. Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Microfinance, or a related field.
At least 2–4 years of experience in microfinance, banking, or financial services.
Experience in field sales, lending, savings mobilization, or agent network development is a MUST
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently and lead field teams effectively. MUST be able to drive and posses a valid driving license.
