The candidate will also contribute to capacity building and knowledge sharing within the organization. This position is based in Thies, Senegal, and requires a strong commitment to research that benefits smallholder farmers in West and Central Africa. Master of Science (MSc) in Plant Breeding, Genetics, or related fields Practical experience in field-based research Knowledge in sorghum and/or pearl millet hybrid breeding Demonstrated leadership potential and communication skills Interest in research benefiting smallholder farmers Experience with quantitative genetics and genomics tools Strong statistical skills and knowledge of data management software Ability to work in a multicultural environment Fluency in English and French
