Job Purpose The Compliance Auditor will be responsible for providing assurance that data controllers and processors subject to the Data Protection and Privacy Act, Cap 97 and its Regulations have implemented effective technical and organisational measures to safeguard personal data. Key Accountabilities

• Carry out activities to monitor compliance and report on the observance of the right to privacy of a person and of personal data.
• Provide guidance to audited entities on closing gaps and embedding privacy-by-design principles.
• Play an active role in organizing and delivering compliance clinics, awareness campaigns, and capacity-building sessions. Engage in regulatory investigations, conduct onsite inspections, and collect evidence to facilitate appropriate enforcement measures. Represent the PDP in sector working groups and standard-setting forums, collecting input to enhance the organization’s audit and inspection manual.

Responsabilités

• Fulfill any additional duties as they may arise or as directed by management. Minimum qualifications include possession of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Candidates must demonstrate at least three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role, with a proven track record of delivering measurable results. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential, as is proficiency in industry-standard software and tools. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is also a must. Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum is preferred. Hold an advanced degree in a relevant field, demonstrating a strong academic foundation and expertise. Previous teaching or training experience is essential, ideally within a higher education setting. Familiarity with curriculum development, instructional design, and student assessment methodologies is required. The ability to mentor and guide students effectively is crucial. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to engage diverse learners. Experience with educational technology and digital learning platforms is a plus. Formation / Diplômes

• Bachelor of Information Technology, Computer Science degree or related area from a recognized university is required;
• CISA or CISM is a requirement;
