BrighterMonday Consulting is recruiting for a Compliance & Regulatory Manager / AMLRO position. This role is based outside Uganda, full-time, in the banking, finance, and insurance sector. Compensation is confidential.

In this role, the holder will serve as the designated Anti-Money Laundering Reporting Officer (AMLRO) and lead the company's regulatory and compliance function.

Working Hours: Full-time - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FULL-TIME
Compensation: Monthly net base salary between GHS 14,000.00 and GHS 16,000.00, payable in accordance with company policy.
Responsibilities
In this role, the holder will serve as the designated Anti-Money Laundering Reporting Officer (AMLRO) and lead the company's regulatory and compliance function. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serve as the designated AMLRO under the Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2020 (Act 1044) and all applicable Bank of Ghana directives, with responsibility for filing Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) with the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC).
Ensure the company's ongoing compliance with the Payment Systems and Services Act, 2019 (Act 987) and all regulatory requirements issued by the Bank of Ghana.
Develop, implement, maintain, and periodically review AML/CFT policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and advise management and the board on emerging regulatory risks and obligations.
Lead AML/CFT training and awareness programs for staff to embed a strong compliance culture throughout the organization.
