Education / Qualifications

The senior accountant supervises general and auxiliary accounting, ensures the reliability of financial information and participates in analysis and reporting. Job purpose The Senior Accountant's main mission is to ensure the maintenance and supervision of accounting , ensure compliance with accounting, tax and social obligations, and produce reliable financial statements. He plays a key role in financial analysis, internal process improvement and management consulting

Main duties

General and auxiliary accounting Daily bookkeeping: seizures, imputation, lettering and reconciliations Accounts payable, customers, cash and fixed assets management Supervision and control of transactions entered by the accounting team Preparation of provisions, inventory entries and monthly situations. Financial production and reporting Preparation of financial statements, balance sheets and income statements. Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial dashboards. Analysis of changes and differences in accounts Tax management

Other information

Compliance with tax obligations: VAT, ITS and other declarations Preparation and control of periodic tax returns Participation in tax audits and responses to administrations Cash and banking management Banking reconciliations and monitoring of financial flows Management of banking relationships and cash flow forecasts.

Candidate profile

Experience

general and analytical accounting , Reporting and Regulatory Compliance Proficiency in local and international accounting standards. Ability to supervise a team and mentor junior staff Mastery of accounting tools with a strong rigor and analytical spirit Excellent written and oral communication skills for reporting and management consulting. Profile of the Candidate Candidate profile He must have at least 7 years of experience in a similar position preferably in a large distribution company with a high number of foreign suppliers and a multitude of customers. The ideal candidate is rigorous, results-oriented, with a strong professional ethic , able to manage multiple priorities and propose continuous improvements to accounting processes. They must also be able to manage stress and pressure and collaborate with different departments to ensure the integrity of financial data and support business strategy. He must be rigorous and very professional in his dealings with our local and foreign suppliers. Proficiency in English and XRT software is an asset.
