Background Information: Re-advertised The Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) is an anti-poverty civil society network dedicated to working alongside the poor to combat poverty. Since 2000, CSPR has championed the effective and meaningful participation of civil society and citizens in the formulation and monitoring of National Development Plans (NDPs), ensuring responsive pro-poor policies and enhanced public service provision. In the Social Security and Justice space, we are working towards achieving a fair and equitable society where everyone has access to social security and justice. When it comes to economic governance, we are advocating for sound fiscal management and regulatory frameworks to create sustainable economic growth and reduce inequality. As part of the LIFT Zambia Programme, the Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) is working to improve access to sustainable and safe water in Mufumbwe District. This initiative is linked to the implementation of the MI Model, which supports small-scale farmers through climate-resilient agriculture and improved livelihoods. To strengthen the incubation hub established in Kalengwa Ward, CSPR intends to put up a solar-powered water reticulation system and two water Kiosks at Kalambo Ward. The solar-powered water system will be designed to serve both domestic needs of surrounding communities and productive agricultural use, thereby enhancing water security for households and smallholder farmers. - •Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
- •Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
- •Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
- •Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
- •Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
- •A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
