Le Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) est un réseau anti-pauvreté de la société civile dédié à travailler aux côtés des pauvres pour combattre la pauvreté. Depuis 2000, CSPR défend la participation effective et significative de la société civile et des citoyens dans la formulation et le suivi des Plans Nationaux de Développement (PND), en veillant à des politiques pro-pauvres réactives et à une meilleure prestation des services publics. Dans le domaine de la sécurité sociale et de la justice, nous œuvrons pour une société juste et équitable où chacun a accès à la sécurité sociale et à la justice. En ce qui concerne la gouvernance économique, nous plaidons pour une gestion budgétaire saine et des cadres réglementaires visant une croissance économique durable et une réduction des inégalités.
Dans le cadre du programme LIFT Zambia, le Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) travaille à améliorer l'accès à une eau durable et sûre dans le district de Mufumbwe. Cette initiative est liée à la mise en œuvre du modèle MI, qui soutient les petits exploitants agricoles grâce à une agriculture résiliente au climat et à l'amélioration des moyens de subsistance. Pour renforcer le pôle d'incubation établi dans le quartier de Kalengwa, CSPR prévoit de mettre en place un système de distribution d'eau alimenté par l'énergie solaire et deux kiosques à eau dans le quartier de Kalambo. Le système d'eau solaire sera conçu pour répondre à la fois aux besoins domestiques des communautés environnantes et à l'utilisation agricole productive, améliorant ainsi la sécurité de l'eau pour les ménages et les petits agriculteurs.
