Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods is essential, as is a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
Responsibilities include leading independent research projects, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to address complex societal challenges. In this role, you will spearhead comprehensive evaluations of social impacts alongside the development and implementation of robust community engagement initiatives. You will assess potential social risks associated with projects and propose strategies to mitigate them. You will formulate comprehensive resettlement action plans and design robust stakeholder engagement frameworks. You will collaborate effectively with local communities, non-governmental organizations, and government entities to foster partnerships and facilitate project implementation. You will monitor and evaluate social performance metrics across the entire project duration, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting.
Additionally, you will conduct a thorough assessment of potential social risks associated with project execution and develop strategic recommendations to mitigate identified concerns. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive resettlement action plans and designing stakeholder engagement frameworks to ensure effective and inclusive implementation. You will engage in collaborative partnerships with nearby communities, non-governmental organizations, and governmental bodies to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
You will track and document social performance metrics throughout each phase of the project to ensure ongoing evaluation and transparency. A postgraduate degree is required for this position, demonstrating advanced academic qualifications in a relevant field.
