UNFPA is seeking a qualified national consultant to conduct a comprehensive review of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (VET) curriculum, ensuring its alignment with Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) standards as outlined in the National Adapted International Technical Guidance on Sexuality Education and national educational frameworks. The successful candidate will assess existing gaps in the current curriculum, recommend targeted enhancements, and collaborate with policymakers, educators, and development partners to validate and institutionalize CSE integration. This consultancy, part of the Youth Empowerment Accelerator for Health (YEAH) project in Rwanda, aims to strengthen SRHR components within VET programs, empowering youth with essential health education alongside technical and vocational training. The role requires fluency in English (with proficiency in French or Kinyarwanda as strong assets), a minimum of seven years of relevant experience in curriculum development or health education, and demonstrated expertise in CSE frameworks. Over a two-month, full-time contract, the consultant will lead stakeholder consultations, develop evidence-based teaching strategies, evaluate ICT readiness for digital CSE delivery, and produce actionable recommendations to guide curriculum reform.
