In Rwanda, PIN collaborates with the Government of Rwanda through its sister organization, Input Mu Burma (IMB), to enhance public health systems in rural and underserved districts. PIN’s initiatives span non-communicable diseases (NCDs), oncology, surgery, and reproductive, maternal, neonatal, adolescent, and child health (RMN ACH). Rwinkwavu serves as a hub for NCD and surgical services, while Irene district is a focal point for reproductive and maternal health programs. The NCD & RMN ACH Research Manager will be primarily based in Rwinkwavu with regular travel to Irene district. This role will lead research efforts across NCD and RMN ACH portfolios, with a focus on NCDs, ensuring methodological rigor, high-quality execution, and seamless collaboration with clinical and program teams. The position requires advanced expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research, exceptional scientific writing abilities, and a proven track record of managing research projects from inception to dissemination. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior researchers and clinical staff involved in research, as well as overseeing quality improvement initiatives across both program areas.
