Role and Responsibilities Professionally and sustainably advance the agronomic support and sales services for Yara’s premium and differentiated products to commercial agricultural producers within the designated region, thereby significantly enhancing the company’s overall performance. Providing specialized agronomic knowledge and delivering expert technical assistance We are seeking to advance the development, commercialization, implementation, and ongoing performance monitoring of our plant nutrition product portfolio. This role encompasses strategic planning, market analysis, and execution to ensure seamless integration and sustained effectiveness of our product offerings. Digital farming solutions Market Intelligence Sales planning and forecasting, procurement, and logistics management are essential components of this role, ensuring efficient inventory control and timely delivery of products. Credit application processing, management of debtor accounts, and handling of account-related inquiries are key responsibilities within this role. Effectively managing stakeholder relationships within the commercial farming industry is essential to this role. Functional Knowledge Acquired a solid comprehension of and hands-on expertise in crop production methodologies, plant nutrition strategies, and fundamental agronomic principles. A solid grasp of sales, marketing, and negotiation principles, coupled with hands-on experience, is essential in the commercial farming industry. Proven experience in corporate and commercial customer service and relationship management is essential. Proficient in sales administration principles tailored to corporate and commercial agricultural producers, with hands-on experience in the field. Competencies Technical: Demonstrated proficiency in agronomy, encompassing comprehensive expertise and in-depth knowledge of the field. Business acumen, organizational and administrative proficiency, critical evaluation, expert consultation, and value-driven selling are essential competencies. Business acumen, strategic leadership, analytical problem-solving, and strong interpersonal abilities are essential qualifications for this role. Qualifications and Experience Earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture or an equivalent qualification, along with certification in fertilization practices. The Agricultural Institute of Zambia (AIZ) is actively seeking qualified individuals to join their esteemed membership.
