The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator for the Integrated Climate Risk Management Programme in the Sahelian countries. This temporary position, based in Dakar, involves managing day-to-day program operations, coordinating with country project teams, and building partnerships with key stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership, quality control, and monitoring of program delivery, as well as effective communication and relationship-building skills. The coordinator will ensure the program's strategic direction and successful implementation over an 11-month period. Advanced degree in Risk Management, Sustainable Development, or related field At least 8 years of relevant experience 3 years in a multi-cultural organization Experience in climate resilience and risk management Knowledge of climate adaptation and impacts on livelihoods Experience with international institutions and donors Excellent English and French skills
