We seek motivated professionals with the requisite expertise and background in logistics, with positions available in Dar es Salaam and Amaya. The chosen applicants will report directly to the Distribution Team Leader. Key Duties & Responsibilities Handles the transportation of bulk stock as part of primary distribution, facilitating the movement of goods between manufacturing plants and distribution centers, as well as local distribution partners and CCDs. Responsibilities include managing the secondary distribution of stock to direct delivery customers and CCD’s, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Delivering high-quality, prompt customer service to both internal stakeholders and external clients is a core responsibility. Responsibilities include accurately collecting and managing cash transactions from customers, ensuring all funds are handled with care and precision. The responsibility includes overseeing the accurate banking and settlement of all collected cash to prevent any discrepancies or shortages. Compile and verify all delivery documentation to ensure the accuracy of invoicing, confirming that each document meets the required standards.

• You will assume complete responsibility for the assigned truck, mobile device, inventory, and pallets loaded on the vehicle.
• Co-coordinating and receiving customer invoices. Accurately and promptly conduct daily stock counts to ensure precision and efficiency.
• Comply with security checks and procedures Supervise and lead the truck crew, ensuring efficient and safe operations throughout all tasks. Comply with all applicable traffic laws and regulations established by the country. Adhere to all established company safety protocols to prevent any workplace fatalities.

• VETA Driving Certificate

Formation / Diplômes

• Form IV secondary education Holders of a valid and applicable driver’s license with at least three years of experience are required. Experience With a minimum of three years of driving experience and an unblemished driving record, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and reliability behind the wheel.

Expérience

• Prior distribution driving experience with Haulier Available and prepared to adhere to a consistent schedule, including fixed shifts at designated times of day and on specific days of the week.
• Demonstrates a solid understanding of logistics operations and the interconnected nature of distribution and warehouse workflows. Proficient mechanical aptitude is essential to ensure vehicles remain safe and fully operational, adhering to both company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Candidates should possess a strong understanding of equipment management and maintenance, as well as expertise in handling trucks and stock assets with care. A solid grasp of Distribution’s critical performance indicators and their implications for both internal and external customers is required. Possesses a solid grasp of distribution route planning and optimization systems. Proficient in leveraging modern technological tools, including mobile devices, in-cab camera systems, and satellite tracking solutions, with a demonstrated ability to operate these systems effectively.
