The NCD and RMN ACH Research Manager is a Grade 4A position based in Rwinkwavu, with cross-site responsibilities and reporting to the Director of the NCD Program. This role oversees Data Collectors, Junior NCD and RMN ACH Researchers, and plays a pivotal part in advancing Partners In Health (PIN), a Boston-based non-profit dedicated to delivering equitable healthcare to underserved populations globally. With programs in Haiti, Peru, Guatemala, Mexico, Russia, Rwanda, Lesotho, Malawi, Burundi, Kazakhstan, the Dominican Republic, and Boston, PIN collaborates in Rwanda through Input Mu Burma (IMB) to strengthen public health systems in rural and marginalized communities. They will mentor junior researchers and clinical staff, foster research capacity within IMB, and oversee quality improvement (QI) initiatives that align with programmatic goals. Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and executing research projects, developing protocols and data tools, ensuring ethical compliance and data security, and supervising field teams and research coordinators. Additionally, they will lead manuscript development, reports, policy briefs, and grant proposals, present findings to stakeholders, and translate research into actionable strategies for health system strengthening. Qualifications include an advanced degree in Public Health, Nursing, Medicine, Global Health, Social Science, or a related field, along with at least five years of full-time research experience, preferably in

  • Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
  • Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
  • Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
  • Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
  • Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
  • A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
