Proficiency in welding and fabrication methods is a fundamental requirement for this position. 2 Key Responsibilities Proficient in interpreting and analyzing engineering drawings and blueprints. Metal components are cut, shaped, and bent through the precise use of both hand and power tools. Metal components are welded, bolted, and riveted together to ensure precise assembly and fit. Conduct thorough visual inspections and utilize precision measuring instruments to verify the accuracy and quality of all completed products. Operate a variety of machinery, including drills, saws, and grinders, while adhering to all safety protocols and operational guidelines. Ensure the consistent upkeep of tools and equipment through systematic maintenance procedures, thereby maintaining peak operational efficiency and reliability. Ensure strict compliance with all safety protocols while maintaining a clean and orderly workspace at all times. 3 Basic Qualifications Holders of the G12 School Certificate and Craft Certificate, possessing intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with a minimum of three years’ hands-on experience in metal fabrication and fitting, are encouraged
