In this role, you will contribute to Lipline’s autonomous delivery infrastructure by refining perception data that empowers aircraft to interpret their surroundings—detecting airborne and ground obstacles, ensuring precision in deliveries, and supporting machine-learning systems. As a Data Labeling Specialist, your meticulous work in annotating sensor data will translate raw operational inputs into robust training datasets, directly shaping the accuracy and reliability of Lipline’s autonomy algorithms. You will uphold annotation standards, flag edge cases and data inconsistencies, and collaborate with Autonomy teams to refine workflows—ensuring labeled datasets meet the highest quality benchmarks for algorithm development. Key responsibilities include annotating and validating data from diverse sensor feeds using internal and external tools, identifying anomalies or ambiguities, and documenting issues that may impact labeling precision or efficiency. You will deliver consistently high-quality datasets on schedule, provide actionable feedback to improve labeling tools and processes, and support Autonomy teams on critical projects as needed. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering—or be in their final academic year—and demonstrate experience in data review and annotation with strict adherence to guidelines. The role demands exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex workflows over extended periods. Strong English communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential. This position requires eligibility to work in Rwanda and follows a 24/7 operational model, necessitating flexibility to accommodate rotating shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
