We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized and proactive individual to join our team as an Inventory Intern. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in inventory management and retail operations.
As an Inventory Intern, you will support day-to-day inventory activities across our operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with stock counts, stock reconciliation, and inventory audits. Supporting receiving, recording, and tracking of stock movements. Updating and maintaining accurate inventory records. Assisting in identifying stock discrepancies and reporting variances. Supporting stock transfers between branches and warehouse locations. Assisting with monitoring stock levels and identifying slow-moving or fast-moving items. Preparing inventory reports and assisting with data analysis. Ensuring proper documentation of all inventory transactions.
You will also support the Inventory team with general administrative duties.
We are looking for a candidate with a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or a related field. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail and organizational skills, good analytical and numerical abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (an added advantage). You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced retail environment. Previous experience in inventory, stock control or retail is an added advantage.
