IT - Software Development Western Cape - South Africa, Remote ENVIRONMENT: A prominent web hosting company is looking for a talented Senior Full-Stack Developer to lead the development of their new product. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with cloud technologies, React, Django, and AngularJS, as well as expertise in Domain-Driven Design. Proficiency in Ruby, Go, TypeScript, or Python is also highly desirable. DUTIES: Design & development of backend software and APIs Object-oriented programming using a language like Ruby Design & development of frontend components using React Software development within the Linux/Unix environment Agile development practices (team focus, continual improvement, automated tests, refactoring, continuous integration, pair programming) REQUIREMENTS: BSc or BTech majoring in Computer Science will be advantageous, however, your ability to demonstrate your in-depth understanding of the web technologies and sound software engineering practices will trump a formal qualification. A minimum of 5+ years of software development experience. Minimum of 2 years supporting a large-scale application in an operational capacity.
